Seven Dwarves Mine Train ride

Today I'm sharing an Illustration I put together last week featuring a scene from Disney's 'Seven Dwarves Mine Train'. I've never actually been on this one, but it looks like a great attraction! I love the way the Imagineers combine thrilling rides with captivating storytelling. Elements of distressed well weathered timbers and rock, old world craftsmanship ( in the Dwarven clock, Doc's scale, the lanterns and the bunny rabbit table) place Doc right at home. He's keeping careful tally of he and his six pals precious harvest. What makes this scene magical is the lighting design! Mysterious violets and blues light the walls of the mine, along with the colorful glow of gemstones beyond the dreams of avarice! I hope you all enjoy the drawing as much as I enjoyed making it!
